Calorie Calculator

Estimate BMR and daily calorie needs (TDEE) from age, height, weight, and activity — in your browser.

Tool workspace

Educational BMR and TDEE estimates only — not medical, nutrition, or weight-loss advice. Runs locally in your browser; measurements are not uploaded.

How it works

Enter sex, age, height, weight, and activity level. Choose metric (kg/cm) or imperial (lb/in).

BMR defaults to Mifflin–St Jeor; Harris–Benedict (revised) is optional. TDEE multiplies BMR by a standard activity factor (sedentary 1.2 through extra active 1.9).

Results update as you type. Empty incomplete inputs clear the result—no error. Out-of-range values show a validation message.

Disclaimer: educational estimates only — not medical, nutrition, diet, or weight-loss advice.

Examples

  • Male, 30y, 175 cm, 70 kg, moderately active (Mifflin) → BMR ≈ 1649, TDEE ≈ 2556 kcal/day
  • Same person in imperial: 69 in, 154 lb → same estimate within rounding
