How it works

Edit a standard Unix/Linux five-field crontab expression (minute, hour, day of month, month, day of week) or use the per-field controls—both stay in sync.

The tool explains the schedule in plain English and optionally lists the next estimated fire times in your browser’s local timezone. Estimates are educational and may differ from Vixie cron, systemd timers, or cloud schedulers.

Seconds, year, and Quartz/Spring six- or seven-field formats are out of scope for this version.

Nothing is uploaded, executed, or scheduled on our servers.

Which cron format is supported?

Standard five-field Unix/Linux crontab only. Seconds, year, and Quartz/Spring formats are not supported in this version.

Are expressions uploaded or scheduled?

No. Parsing, explanation, and next-run estimates run entirely in your browser. We do not execute or schedule jobs.

How accurate are the next fire times?

They are estimates in your browser’s local timezone using common Vixie-style day-of-month / day-of-week rules. Daemons and cloud schedulers can differ—treat them as guidance, not a guarantee.

Do I need an account?

No. All published tools work for guests without login.
