Binary NOR

Compute bitwise NOR of two binary values locally in your browser.

Tool workspace

Bitwise NOR runs locally on equal-width bit-strings (shorter side left-padded with 0). Max 256 bits each. Nothing you paste is uploaded.

How it works

Enter two binary values (digits 0 and 1). Whitespace is ignored.

The shorter value is left-padded with zeros so both share the same width (up to 256 bits). The result is the bitwise NOR (NOT of OR) of those padded strings, shown as binary plus an unsigned decimal companion line.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded.

Examples

  • 01 NOR 10 → 00 (decimal: 0)
  • 00 NOR 00 → 11 (decimal: 3)
